A Story of Love & Luxe
From a very early age I have always loved jewelry. Growing up in Upstate New York, I would pick dandelions in the back yard, mix them with woodland floral and weave them into bracelets. My love of shiny, pretty things came a bit later on.
After studying jewelry design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, wanderlust took hold and I ventured off to dive on shipwrecks in search of buried treasure. Searching out ancient gold coins from sunken Spanish Galleons that were as shiny and wildly golden as the day they had gone down became a passion of mine.
Each coin was unique and had a story to tell. On the front was the coat of arms of the person that owned it and on the other was the Kings stamp. My obsession with ornate golden heirlooms had begun.
From there I settled in France for a spell where I fell in love with the romantic beauty that is Paris. After getting engaged on the steps of Versailles, my husband-to-be not only asked me to marry him, but to make my own engagement ring. This was the beginning of Rough Luxe and in helping couples find the ring of their dreams.
Finding an engagement ring to represent the life you are beginning together can be a little overwhelming. You want to make sure it is perfect! Working on a bespoke ring is truly a collaborative process and we like to take our time and lead you through each step of creating a unique symbol of your love story.
Our vintage engagement ring designs are reminiscent of an era of romantic beauty, timeless simplicity and elegance. Each of our carefully designed and beautifully curated collections feature delicate florals, petite sparkling diamond accents and subtly textured bands. They are made to withstand the test of time and become future heirlooms for generations to come
We incorporate one-of-a-kind precious gemstones & vintage cut diamonds. Great care is taken to ensure that our stones ethically sourced and conflict-free. Long after the wedding day is over & the gown packed away the one lasting reminder of your love will be the ring on your finger. Let it be a special one.
